How are you going? People in my community call me Van. I’m a 21 year old mother to one child. I also have two siblings. I’m currently a housewife. On occasion, when my siblings are home from school and are able to take care of my child and the housework, I go the fields to help my husband work. He is a rubber field labourer. We earn about $27.15 per week which goes directly towards supporting the whole family. We live in a small house in a remote community in Cambodia. My business goal is to set up a chicken and duck farming business, building it into a successful micro-enterprise.
In the future I hope to have enough money to support my siblings’ education, improve the quality of the food we consume, pay for better facilities, and change our status in the community as a whole.
