I started selling kids snacks and drinks as a business. This business makes us some income to support our family. One of my sons who is studying works part-time. We only manage to save very small amount. We live in an old house in a village in Kampong Chhnang Province. A few years ago after my husband passed away, In addition, my children and I are also working as local labourers when we are hired to do seasonal farm work. To make more income, I also have a plan to expand my current business. I am selling the products along the national road.

If I had better business skills and better access to capital and materials I could expand my business and it would be more successful. I hope to generate more income so that we can afford to support my children’s education, improve the quality of food our family consumes and increase our savings to fix up our house in the future.
