In total, we earn about $1.50- $2.00 a day to support my family of four people. We are struggling to make a living as we must work for our food every single day plus pay for my child’s study and other household facilities.As the total income we earn is not enough to support my family’s needs, last year my parents and I discussed and decided to start a vegetable farming business. We currently face multiple business issues such as access to a water source, diseases and other damages. If I had better farming skills and better access to capital and materials my business would be more successful.

I would like to expand my vegetable farming business and develop it into a successful micro-enterprise. With more funding and the appropriate training I can do this. Through this micro-enterprise, I can generate more income which will allow me to improve our food security and healthcare and improve our standard of living as a whole.
