How are you? I’m Samnang, I’m 26 and I have one child. I’m currently a housewife. My husband is a rubber field worker. He earns my family’s main income, around $23.25 a week, which goes directly towards supporting the whole family. My elderly mother is living with us, too. We live in a small house in a remote area of Cambodia. I would like to start up my chicken farm and eventually develop it into a successful micro-enterprise.
My goal is to generate enough income so that we can afford to support my children’s education, my family’s daily food needs, repair our house and improve our overall standard of living.
