Hello, my name is Sambo. I’m a 45 year old father of four children, three of whom are in school, and one who is still little. I’m a construction worker and my wife is a sweet and vegetable seller. She sells the products on a bicycle from door to door. We earn our family’s main income, which allows us to spend around $0.68 per family member per day. We could only save around $0.75 on a monthly basis. We live in a small house in a remote area of the Nhor credit union of Svay Rieng province.
My business goal is to start up our old children’s snack and grocery selling business, and develop it into a successful micro-enterprise.
I hope to generate more income so that we can afford to support our children’s education, improve the quality of food our family consumes, and increase our savings to build a new house.
