How are you? You can call me Sam Oan. I’m a 32 year-old mother with 3 children, all of whom are at school in grades 2, 4, and 6. I’m currently a children’s snack seller. My husband is a rubber field worker. Our combined income allows us to spend about $0.70 on each family member per day. Our family’s life is a struggle. We live in a remote village of the Tbong Khmum province. My business goal is to expand our current children’s snack and grocery store and develop it into a successful micro-enterprise. I hope to grow our finances so that we can afford to better support my children’s education, and improve the quality of food our family consumes. In addition to this, improving our access to facilities would be of great benefit to us.
