Hi, my name is Nea Phork, and I live in Tropang Trav village. I live with my daughter who is unfortunately not healthy enough to work in the garment factory. As a result, I’m the only one earning an income for the family. I work on a rice field, and during the dry season I collect cow dung to sell. In this program, I hope to learn the skills needed to farm chickens and get financial support to build proper chicken coop. Currently I have no coop and so the chickens live under the trees or in the small hut near the kitchen. When I can afford to build a coop, I will be able to generate more income for healthcare, food, and savings. This is going to be my main business besides rice farming.
