How are you? My name is Chanthon Saem. I’m a 20 year-old mother with 2 children, one of whom is in school. I sometimes work as a rubber field labourer with my husband. In total, we have about $0.74 to spend per person per day. Our family’s life is a struggle. In the future I would like to start up my chicken farming business again. I would like to develop it into a successful micro-enterprise. With more funding and the appropriate training I could achieve this. Through this micro-enterprise I can generate more income which will allow me to save to build an appropriate house, support my children’s education, provide better quality food and access to facilities for my family.
